Job Summary
The Consumer Council of Zimbabwe is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager with expertise in consumer protection economics to drive business growth and revenue generation while advancing consumer welfare. The successful candidate will leverage economic analysis and insights to inform business strategies and promote consumer protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business growth strategies that align with Council’s consumer protection.
- Conduct economic research and analysis to inform business decisions and policy advocacy.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and funding sources.
- develop and pitch business proposals that showcase the council’s expertise in consumer protection economics.
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Business or related field.
- A Masters degree is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in business development, economic research or policy analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication and pitching skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

MEMBERSHIP OFFICER
Job Summary
The Consumer Council of Zimbabwe (CCZ) is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and result- oriented individual to fill the position of Membership Officer.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement membership recruitment and retention strategies.

Maintain and update the membership database.

Engage with members to ensure effective service delivery and support.

Coordinate membership outreach, communication and engagement programs

Monitor membership subscriptions and ensure timely renewals.
- Prepare membership reports and contribute to CCZ’s growth strategies
- Design and implement marketing campaigns to promote CCZ services and programs.
- Manage CCZ branding, publicity, and promotional activities.
- Develop partnerships to enhance membership growth and visibility.
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Business Management or equivalent.
- At least 5 years experience in membership management, customer relations, or business development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet set targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office packages.

The Consumer Council of Zimbabwe (CCZ) is seeking application from suitably qualified candidate for the position of Research & Development Officer
Key Responsibilities

Conduct consumer – related research and policy analysis.

Develop evidenced-based advocacy and research papers to influence consumer protection policies.

Monitor market trends and provide insights to guide CCZ’s programs.

Draft reports, publications and policy brief for dissemination.

Support the design and implementation of development projects within CCZ.

Collaborate with stakeholders in advancing consumer rights and protections.
- Project Proposals.
Requirements
- A degree in Economics, Research, Social Science, Policy Studies or equivalent.
- At least 5 years experience in research, data analysis and report writing.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Knowledge of consumer protection issues is an added advantage.
