Any consumer, consumer association, agency, or a legal heir/representative of a deceased consumer can file a complaint.

How does my organization become a member?
You can apply for membership by submitting an application through our website or contacting us directly. Membership criteria and application forms are available upon request
How were you founded?
CCZ (Consumer Council of Zimbabwe) was founded to advocate for consumer rights and ensure fair practices in the marketplace.
Who runs CCZ?
CCZ is managed by a Board of Directors and a team of professionals who oversee day-to-day operations and advocacy programs.
How are you funded?
We are funded through a combination of membership fees, donations, grants, and partnerships with national and international organizations.
Where are you based?
Our headquarters is in [Harare at No 35 Rhodesville Rd ], and we have Provincial offices in all the ten provinces across.
Do you handle individual complaints?
Yes, CCZ assists consumers by receiving, investigating, and attempting to resolve individual complaints against goods or service providers.
What is the procedure for filing a complaint with CCZ?
To file a complaint:
Gather all relevant documents (receipts, contracts, etc.)
Submit a written complaint in person, by email, or through our online platform
Our team will acknowledge and assess your complaint, and guide you through the resolution process

What is the time limit for filing a complaint?
Complaints must generally be filed within 3 years from the date of the incident. However, exceptions may apply depending on the circumstances.
